08-05-2013<\/strong><\/p>\nAnnual opening of the Foundation in Rhodes on the day of Saint Marc : presentation of the 2013 Marc de Montalembert grant to Pandora Dourmisi<\/strong>, Greece, for her project Derelict earthen architecture in the west Balkan region<\/em>. On this occasion Camille Oarda<\/strong> winner of the 2012 grant presents in an exhibition the monotypes and engravings that she made as the result of her project Impressions in the Mediterranean<\/em>.<\/p>\n30-03-2013<\/strong><\/p>\nThe 2013 Marc de Montalembert grant was awarded to Pandora Dourmisi<\/strong>, Greece, for her project Derelict earthen architecture in the west Balkan region<\/em> : the objective of the project is to identify local traditional styles and techniques of earthen architecture and prepare a photo archive and catalogue.<\/p>\n26-03-2013<\/strong><\/p>\nt the seat of the INHA, in Paris, the 2013 Prix Marc de\u00a0 Montalembert<\/strong> was presented by Mr. Jean Michel Mouton, Directeur d\u2019\u00e9tudes \u00e0 l\u2019EPHE \u2013 Histoire et arch\u00e9ologie des mondes musulmans, to Silvia Armando<\/strong>, art historian from Italy for her research Art and archeology in the medieval Mediterranean world through the correspondence and photographic archives of Ugo Monneret de Villard<\/em>. On this occasion Rihda Moumni Prix Marc de Montalembert 2012 delivered a lecture entitled Discours et contre-discours carthaginois : la d\u00e9couverte des antiquit\u00e9s dans la R\u00e9gence de Tunis<\/em>.<\/p>\n18-01-2013<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Prix Marc de Montalembert 2013<\/strong> is awarded to Silvia Armando<\/strong>, art historian from Italy. Her research is entitled \u201dArt and archeology in the medieval Mediterranean world through the correspondence and photographical archives of Ugo Monneret de Villars\u201d<\/em>. It focuses on the reknown scholar in Islamic art who was active in the first half of the XXth century. 25-11-2012<\/strong><\/p>\nFrom November 22nd to 25th 2012 the Foundation hosted at its siege of Rhodes the training workshop<\/strong> on \u201c The art of participatory leadership<\/strong> \u201d organized by Systemic Innovation Zone Hellas and by Harah Practice. The workshop was attended by 28 participants of whom 13 young Greek. The focus of the workshop was on building the capacities of the participants to take initiatives in a context of crisis which calls for added social cohesion and individual participation and for approaches geared at systemic adaptation\/transformation.<\/p>\n30-09-2012<\/strong><\/p>\nOn the occasion of the European day of Culture the Foundation participates in the \u201dOpen Doors<\/strong>\u201d initiative in the Medieval Town of Rhodes and opens the garden to the public. He was a fellow at Villa Medicis, in Rome. His research is entitled\u00a0\u00ab Qu\u00eates carthaginoises : la red\u00e9couverte de Carthage et sa r\u00e9ception dans la R\u00e9gence de Tunis<\/strong> \u00bb, an essay of rewriting a story of excavations of Carthage from their beginning at the end of the XVIIIth century to the independence of Tunisia. The Prize will presented to him by M. No\u00ebl Duval, professor emeritus at the Paris Sorbonne University on March 20th, 2012 at the Institut national d\u2019histoire de l\u2019art.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
